Happy a great holiday weekend, Dragon Nation!

Next week SPES students, teachers, substitutes, and staff can enjoy Holiday Story Time in the Dragons Den Library!

We can't wait to see the Grinch from the USO and Jason and Teddy the dog from the Spangdahlem American Red Cross next week at SPES reading with the students. Please see flyer for specific times and day for each visitor.

Each student will also receive cookies from Captain Chip! 

Mark your calendars! PTSA's Winter Market will be December 10-13th! Students will be able to come to the market throughout the day. Parents can also come in to chaperone their kids. CASH ONLY! Scan the QR to volunteer in the store!

The Student Council is seeking donations for their upcoming Candy Grams fundraiser!

Flu Vaccines are MANDATORY for all students. You can now schedule your Flu Vaccines at the clinic. Please see the flyer to schedule yours today! Once your student have received the vaccine, please send the nurse or office a copy of the updated vaccine record. An updated vaccine record is due December 1^st for all!

PTSA’s Fall Calendar Fundraiser campaign is open!!

Participants can donate to their student(s) class in order to "blackout" the board and win a fun movie day! Also, the money raised will go towards all of the fun things we have planned for the rest of the school year!

We will have two class winners: Pre-K through 2nd and 3rd through 5th

We invite you to attend the upcoming SAC meeting! Spangdahlem Elementary School Advisory Council (SAC) acts as a liaison between the school administration, community, and the 52nd FW Commander to assure a positive school environment for the children of Spangdahlem Elementary School. The SAC has two main jobs; 1) to foster participation in school affairs by members of the school and military communities and; 2) to provide a coordinated process to address and resolve issues at a practical level. The SAC does this by advising the SpES Principal and the 52nd FW Wing Commander on issues within their jurisdiction as it pertains to the school. The schedule for the upcoming school year is attached! We’d love to see and hear from you!

Need to know:

• It is very important to notify the front office of daily transportation changes, the front office will notify the classroom teacher(s) of the change. CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY 1400.
• Our buses must depart to the middle/high by a certain time, knowing your child(ren)’s transportation for the day helps tremendously!
• Notify our front office of student absences.
