Happy November Dragon Nation!
Did you know the flu vaccine is MANDATORY for all students?
Flu vaccines are now available! You MUST submit an updated vaccine record with this year's flu shot by Dec 1st! The clinic may not have enough slots to fit everyone in & that's okay! Please email our nurse Fleetwood at andrea.fleetwood@dodea.edu with your appointment date if you are scheduled AFTER Dec 1st.
Scan the QR code to schedule your kid(s)' flu vaccine, if they are 9 years and under! For 10+, head over to the Base Theater on November 4th and 5th between 0800-1600!

Calling all parents! We invite you to attend the upcoming SAC meeting! Spangdahlem Elementary School Advisory Council (SAC) acts as a liaison between the school administration, community, and the 52nd FW Commander to assure a positive school environment for the children of Spangdahlem Elementary School. The SAC has two main jobs; 1) to foster participation in school affairs by members of the school and military communities and; 2) to provide a coordinated process to address and resolve issues at a practical level. The SAC does this by advising the SpES Principal and the 52nd FW Wing Commander on issues within their jurisdiction as it pertains to the school. The schedule for the upcoming school year is attached! We’d love to see and hear from you!

The student council is excited to announce our upcoming fall food drive benefiting the Spangdahlem AFB food pantry. We will be collecting donations starting Monday 10/28 until Thursday 11/07. Donations are assigned by grade level and can be dropped off in the assigned boxes in the 5th grade hallway OR you can contact Mrs. Pratt megan.pratt@doea.edu and/or Mrs. Tighe andrea.tighe@dodea.edu directly for pick-up.

Need to know:
- It is very important to notify the front office of daily transportation changes, the front office will notify the classroom teacher(s) of the change. CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY 1400.
- Our buses must depart to the middle/high by a certain time, knowing your child(ren)’s transportation for the day helps tremendously!
- Notify our front office of student absences.
