PURPOSE. In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5124.01 and DoD Instruction 1342.15 to prescribe procedures regarding School Advisory Committees (SACs), Installation Advisory Committees (IACs) and the Dependents Education Council (DEC) for the overseas school system operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).

• Wing Commander’s Awards for schools: Review of last year
• ES Traffic in P.M.
• MOUs in the works: Sports, Reunification Site* (Community Commons), General, NEO (draft provided by DoDEA 10/25)
  • MOUs completed: School Emergency Access (April 24) 
  • *(From Jan 24 IAC notes) If there is an incident at the schools, the plan is to have students use a rally point and then head to a reunification site. These agreements will need MOUs. 
    • MS/HS rally point is their parking lot and then AAFES would be their reunification site.  Originally it was the gym, but SFS says it’s not far enough away from the school.
    • ES rally point is their parking lot/area behind AAFES and then they’d like the Community Commons (if there’s WiFi) to be their reunification site since AAFES is too close to their school.  
    • Are these still the locations we’re wanting? Or had we decided that all would use Community Commons?
